Terms of Service
Last updated: July 6, 2026
These terms cover how you can use Finanzya, what you can expect from us, and the limits of the service. Plain language, no surprises.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Finanzya, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service. These terms apply to all users, including visitors, free-tier users, and paid subscribers.
Description of Service
Finanzya is a personal finance tracking and planning application. It lets you record your financial accounts, track income and expenses, set budgets and categories, plan savings goals, and project net worth, retirement, and FIRE scenarios. Your financial data is added by you — manually or by importing CSV files. Finanzya does not connect to your bank and never asks for your bank login details.
Account Registration
To use Finanzya you must create an account with a valid email address, or sign in with Google. You must be at least 16 years old. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account, and you must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.
Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter and for the decisions you make based on it. Finanzya is a tool to help you organise and plan — the figures, projections, and analyses are only as accurate as the information you provide. You agree to keep your login details secure and to use the service in line with these terms and applicable law.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use Finanzya only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You may not use the service to store or transmit harmful, fraudulent, or illegal content; attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service, other accounts, or our systems; interfere with or disrupt the service; scrape or copy it at scale; or reverse-engineer it except where the law expressly permits.
Subscriptions & Billing
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis — monthly or annually, as you choose — and renew automatically until you cancel. The price, billing cycle, and any free trial are shown clearly at checkout before you confirm. Payments are processed securely by Stripe; your card details are handled directly by Stripe and we never see or store your full card number. We may change subscription prices with reasonable advance notice, and any change will only apply from your next billing period — never to a period you have already paid for.
Cancellation & Refunds
You can cancel a paid subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access to paid features until the end of the billing period you have already paid for, after which your account reverts to the free tier. Cancelling does not delete your data. If you are a consumer in the UK or EEA, your statutory cancellation and cooling-off rights apply — including the 14-day right to cancel a new subscription under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations; if you ask to start using paid features during that period, we may charge a proportionate amount for what you have used. Outside those statutory rights, payments for a billing period that has already started are non-refundable.
Your Data
You retain full ownership of all data you enter into Finanzya. We do not claim any rights over your financial data. You may export your data at any time via CSV, and you may request deletion of your account and all associated personal data by contacting us; we will process deletion requests within 30 days. How we handle your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
Account Termination
You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it in your settings or contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these terms, use the service unlawfully, or in a way that harms the service or other users — where practical, we will give you notice and a chance to put it right first. On termination, your right to use the service ends; you can request an export of your data beforehand, and we will delete your personal data in line with our Privacy Policy.
Intellectual Property
Finanzya, its name, logo, design, and all related software and content are the intellectual property of Finanzya and its creator. Using the service does not grant you any ownership rights over the software or its design. Your own financial data remains yours.
Disclaimer — Not Financial Advice
The projections, calculations, and analyses provided are based on the data and assumptions you enter. They are illustrative only — not predictions, recommendations, or guarantees of future results. You should not rely on Finanzya as a substitute for professional advice. We recommend consulting a qualified, regulated financial professional before making financial decisions. The service is provided "as is" and "as available".
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Finanzya and its creator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for any financial decision you make based on the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service shall not exceed the greater of the amount you have paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or £50. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are not affected.
Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms of Service and any dispute arising from them or from your use of Finanzya are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident in the EEA, you keep the benefit of any mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts where the law gives you that right.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you by email or through a notice in the application. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
